(A) If a vehicle is impounded under § 72.015(L), the Police Chief and/or his or her assigns shall proceed in accordance with the requirements of § 252d of the State Motor Vehicle Code.
(B) If a vehicle is impounded under § 72.015(J), the Police Chief and/or his or her assigns shall not require a bond or cash deposit by the owner of the motor vehicle in excess of $500 in order to recover the possession of a motor vehicle pending final adjudication of the case.
