§ 51.015 METERS; OWNERS OF PREMISES RESPONSIBLE FOR.

The owner of any premises where a meter is installed shall be held responsible for its care and protection from freezing or damage by hot water and from injury or interference by any person or persons. The owner of any premises where a meter is installed shall be liable for the full replacement costs of any meter and appurtenances that have been damaged or lost.
