§ 51.014 METERS; REMOVAL OF; PROHIBITION.

All persons are forbidden to interfere with or remove a water meter from any service any connection without first receiving permission from the Department. Whenever a meter is removed by permission, it must be immediately returned to the Department under penalty of having the water shut off.
