7-4-12: STORMWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM:
Stormwater collection system improvements shall be installed as specified by the village engineer.
   A.   An adequate stormwater drainage system shall be constructed, consisting of pipes, swales, manholes, catch basins, inlets, stormwater detention facilities and other necessary facilities that will safely serve the development in accordance with chapter 11 of this code.
   B.   The drainage system shall include underground piping for sump pump connections. The piping (4 inch minimum) shall extend from either the front or rear of each building lot to the storm sewer system and shall include manholes and/or cleanouts for maintenance purposes.
   C.   The storm sewer system shall be designed in accordance with the rational method using a five (5) year design storm frequency.
   D.   Stormwater detention shall be provided in accordance with chapter 11 of this code. (Ord. 01-25, 8-16-2001)
