The Town hereby creates the position of Assistant Superintendent, which position shall be filled by the Mayor and Council and be compensated according to the Salary Ordinance adopted by the Mayor and Council. Editor's Note: Said Salary Ordinance is on file at the office of the Town Clerk/Municipal Administrator. The Assistant Superintendent shall not be considered a person in a management position but shall be responsible for carrying out the instructions of the Superintendent and also be responsible for the operation of the Department in the absence of the Superintendent.
