The Town of Hammonton acknowledges the need to establish a chain of command for supervision of the Town Highway Department. The purpose of this article is to establish a chain of command so that there can be an orderly and smooth operation, addressing all of the Highway Department duties, when the Superintendent of Highways is absent for any reason.
