The intent of this article is to encourage the protection of the maximum number of healthy trees and of large-specimen trees throughout the town. The intent is not punitive nor intended to cause hardship to any individual or private or public company that has taken reasonable care and diligence to protect the trees within the Town of Hammonton or that wishes to remove a tree for just cause within the provisions of this article.
