The Town Clerk or Business Administrator of the Town of Hammonton is hereby authorized to issue taxicab licenses to applicants who may apply and pay the fee, on the following conditions:
A. Every owner shall make application for a license or renewal thereof, which application shall be made in writing on appropriate application form created by the Town Clerk and filed with the Town Clerk or Business Administrator, and shall set forth the following:
(1) Motor vehicle year, make, model, serial number and license plate number
(2) Applicant(s) name, address and telephone number
(3) Business name, address and telephone number
(4) Signatures of applicant(s) and all driver(s)
B. The applicant shall pay an annual license fee of $50 to be made payable to the Town of Hammonton.
C. Before such license is granted, the owner shall submit a Certificate of Insurance for each separate business vehicle in the amount of $500,000 liability for each person and not less than $500,000 liability insurance per accident.

D. Each initial application must be approved by the governing body in the form of a resolution.
E. Issuance of taxi cab license and licensing of drivers is subject to police approval.
