§ 247-16. Certificate of insurance required.
   Prior to performing any work under the permit, the permittee shall deliver to the Town Engineer a certificate of insurance in the sum of not less than $1,000,000 combined single limit (CSL) with the town and its agents and employees named as an additional insured. Where applicable, the permittee shall demonstrate that the explosion, collapse and underground (xcu) exclusion has been removed from its insurance policy. The insurance carrier will not cancel said insurance without giving the Town of Hammonton at least 30 days' notice thereof in writing. The form and amount of the insurance coverage must be approved by the town's Solicitor and Risk Manager.
