A. Upon application and payment of the fees and deposits for which provision is hereinafter made, the Town Engineer, in his/her discretion, may authorize the municipal clerk to issue a permit to excavate or open the surface of any town road. The permit shall state the name of the applicant, the location of the opening, the number of days for which the permit shall remain in force and the amount of the review and inspection escrow.
B. Any permits issued under this article may be revoked at any time by the Town Engineer.
