Any person, firm, partnership, association or corporation, whether applicant or tenant of any auction provided for in this chapter, and any person acting for them or any of them, convicted of any violation of provision of this chapter, shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to one or more of the following: a fine of not more than $1,000, imprisonment for a period not to exceed 90 days or a period of community service not to exceed 90 days.
