§ 79-1. License required; revocation for violation.

   On and after the effective date of this article, all automatic amusement games of the type commonly known and designated as "pinball" or "bagatelle" amusement games, including video-type games or machines or similar devices that use a display screen for points, lines and dots of light that can be manipulated to simulate games or other types of entertainment, and all musical entertainment machines of the type commonly known as "juke boxes," maintained or used in any public or quasi-public place or in any building, store or other place wherein the public is invited or wherein the public may enter shall be licensed by the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of Hammonton and shall not be operated, maintained or used within the municipal limits of said Town of Hammonton without first having obtained a license for that purpose; provided, however, that if a license has been issued and the person to whom it has been issued shall thereafter be convicted of a violation of this article, said license and every other license held by the licensee, under and by virtue of this article, shall immediately be revoked by the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of Hammonton.
