§ 82-22A. Limitation on number of domestic dogs or other animals.

   It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain upon any premises a number of domestic animals including, but not limited to, dogs and cats, in excess of that which he/she has the ability to manage in a humane, safe and healthful environment. It shall be the responsibility of the Animal Control Officer to make a determination whether the number of such animals exceeds that limit and, if so, to issue a warning directing that if the number of animals is not reduced to a limit which meets that standard, a citation under this section shall issue.
