§ 175-101. Fire hydrants.

The type of fire hydrant and the layout of the system shall be approved by the Board of Water Commissioners and the Town Engineer. In residential subdivisions, fire hydrants shall be located so that the distance between proposed hydrants shall not exceed 1,000 feet as measured along the curbline. In commercial and industrial subdivisions, standards of the appropriate fire insurance rating association shall apply.
