The cost of providing health care benefits has increased dramatically over the years. Taxpayers in the Town of Hammonton have witnessed this increase in cost, as many of them have seen a decrease or elimination of their own health care benefits. It is the purpose of this article not to penalize any part-time employee, but to reduce the cost of health care coverage that the taxpayers of the Town of Hammonton are paying for.
