The Building Commissioner may initiate a civil action pursuant to I.C. 36-1-6-4 in the name of the town, in the Circuit or Superior Courts of Steuben County or DeKalb County, bring a civil action to enjoin any person from violating any provisions of this Building Code including an action to secure compliance with any order or orders made by the Building Commissioner. Any action for mandatory or injunctive relief may be joined with an action to recover the penalties provided for in this Building Code. Suits are to be initiated in the County where the property is located.
