§ 111.01 LICENSE REQUIRED; FEE; EXCEPTION.
   (A)   No street or traveling peddler, hawker, or itinerant dealer in goods, wares or merchandise shall sell or offer to sell by retail in the town any such goods, wares or merchandise without a license first being obtained from the Clerk-Treasurer.
   (B)   The license shall be for one day, one week, one month or one year, and shall be licensed by the Clerk-Treasurer upon payment by the applicant therefor the sum of $30 for one day, $125 for one week, $400 for one month and $2,000 for one year.
      (1)   Businesses within the Town of Hamilton and not-for-profit organizations shall not be charged a fee. Not-for-profit organizations shall provide proof of their tax exempt status to the Clerk- Treasurer before a license will be issued.
      (2)   If any vendors are going to do business at the park from April 15 through September 30 they need a written agreement with the Summer League and needs to be submitted to town prior to getting permit.
      (3)   If any vendor is going to do business during any event sponsored by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, that vendor shall be exempt for two days from the fee requirement, however, if a vendor is going to conduct business during a Hamilton Chamber of Commerce sponsored event beyond two days, then the appropriate fee shall be paid.
   (C)   Nothing herein shall include farmers or producers of vegetables, cereals or fruits.
