§ 91.03 PROHIBITED ACTS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation using the parks or public lands to perform or permit to be performed any of the following acts:
      (1)   Willfully mark, deface, disfigure, injure, tamper with, displace, or remove any building, bridge, paving, paving material, any waterline or other public utility or appurtenance thereof; sign, notice, or placard, whether temporary or permanent; monument, stake, post, or other boundary marker; tree, bush, shrub, flower, grass, plant, or any other landscaping of any kind or character; or other structure, equipment, facility, park property and public lands, or appurtenance whatsoever, either real or personal.
      (2)   Throw, discard, or otherwise place or cause to be placed in the waters of any fountain, pond, lake, stream, or other body of water in or adjacent to any park or public land or any tributary, stream, storm sewer, or drain flowing into the water, any substance, matter, or thing, liquid or solid, which will or may result in the pollution of the waters.
      (3)   Bring and dump or deposit any garbage, rubbish, waste, or refuse into any park or onto any public lands.
      (4)   Endanger the safety of any person by any misconduct or act.
      (5)   Carry, possess, or use any alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, smoking products, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes, e-cigs, electronic water pipes), vaporizers and vapor products, controlled substances, fires, or fireworks in any park or public lands.
      (6)   Violate any rule for the use of any park or public lands, made or approved by the Board of Directors of the Department of Parks and Recreation.
      (7)   Prevent any person from using any park or public lands, or any of their facilities, or interfere with such use in compliance with this chapter and the rules applicable to use.
      (8)   Bring any dangerous animal into any park or public lands or permit any dog to be in any park unless such dog is on a leash not more than six feet long. The Park Superintendent or police officer or other town official is authorized to take up and impound any animal found in violation of this section.
      (9)   The activity of any person in a loud, boisterous or disorderly manner so as to disturb the peace and quiet of any neighborhood, public ground, another person, or group of persons by loud or unusual noise, or by tumultuous or offensive behavior, including but not limited to threatening, traducing, quarreling, or challenging to fight. Such behavior shall be deemed a violation of this section.
      (10)   Swim, bathe, or wade in any water or waterways in or adjacent to any park or public lands, except in such waters and at such places as are therefor provided and in compliance with the regulations as herein set forth or may be thereafter adopted.
      (11)   No glass bottles at any of the parks. Skateboards, bikes and rollerblades are prohibited on the tennis and pickleball courts.
   (B)   The provisions of this section do not apply to officers, employees or representatives of governmental units, firefighters, or health care personnel acting within the scope of their duties. The regulations contained in this section are to be in addition to any other provisions of the town code.
