§ 156.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person, firm, or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $50 nor more than $200 for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. However, the fine for the first day of any such violation shall be not less than $100.
   (B)   In case any building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted, or maintained or any building, structure, or land is used in violation of this chapter, the proper authorities of the city, in addition to other remedies, may institute any appropriate action or proceedings to prevent such unlawful erection, maintenance, or use or to enjoin, restrain, correct, or abate such violation to prevent the occupancy of said building, structure, or land or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business, or use in or about such premises.
