(A) Whenever any zoning change or request is to be considered by public hearing with respect to any property, an appropriate posting of information with respect to the proposed change or request shall be made on the property by the Building Inspector at least 14 days prior to any hearing with respect to such matter.
(B) Any publication required, by law, to be published with respect to any zoning matters in the city shall be published in the Daily Gate City, Keokuk, Iowa, in addition to the Hancock County Journal-Pilot.
(C) Whenever the circumstances of any particular property (such as uncertainty of the location of boundary lines, close proximity of buildings or proposed buildings to boundary lines, or other matters) wherein the Building Inspector may be in doubt as to the location of a boundary line or the relation of any building to a boundary line, the Building Inspector, in his or her discretion, may require the applicant for a building permit to obtain a boundary and/or building location survey prior to issuing any building permit.
