Sidewalks may be required by the City Council if they are considered necessary for the general welfare and public safety of the development. Sidewalks, when required, shall be of Portland cement concrete with a minimum width of four feet and a minimum thickness of four inches. Sidewalks shall be constructed to the grade approved by the City Council after receiving the report and recommendation of the City Engineer.
