§ 151.15 DEDICATION TO PUBLIC USE; RECORDING.
   (A)   Dedication to public use. The streets, alleys, or other public places within the corporate limits of the city, which are now being used by the public as such or which have heretofore been dedicated to public use (as shown by any map, plat, surveyor’s record, resolution, certificate, conveyance, or dedication) contained either in the offices of the County Recorder of Deeds, the City Clerk, or the Town Clerk of the Town of Montebello, and the same are hereby declared to be public streets, alleys, and public places of the city.

   (B)   Recording. All streets, alleys, or other public places hereafter deeded or dedicated to or, in any other manner, acquired by the said city shall be properly surveyed and platted by some competent surveyor and, upon acceptance and approval thereof by the Council of said city, said plat or survey, bearing the certificate of said surveyor, together with a certificate of approval by said Council under the corporate seal of said city shall be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Deeds.
