Any local license heretofore issued licensing the sale of alcoholic liquors within the corporate limits of the city shall remain in full force and effect until the expiration thereof, unless sooner revoked according to law, without the necessity of the licensee therein making any new or additional application for a license under this chapter, but the license therein shall comply with and be subject to all of the provisions of this chapter.
