Nothing herein contained shall be construed to prevent the municipal authorities of the city from declaring what shall be nuisances and abating the same within their limits, and all nuisances not defined by or provided for in this chapter but which are known to and provided for by the statutes of this state are hereby declared to be nuisances and may be proceeded against under provisions hereof.
