§ 10.02 ORGANIC LAW.
   Whereas on September 9, 1872, pursuant to state statutes, an election was duly called and held whereby a majority of the voters of the city voted for the adoption of city organization under the general law, being an act of the General Assembly of the state, approved April 10, 1872, entitled “An Act to Provide for the Incorporation of Cities and Villages” as the organic law of said city. Now, therefore, said Act of the General Assembly is hereby re-adopted and declared to be the organic law of said city.
