All that part of the city embraced within the following limits shall, until otherwise provided, be known as the fire limits of said city: commencing at the intersection of Oak and 9th Streets in said city, thence easterly along the center line of said Oak Street to the center line of 13th Street, thence southerly along the center line of 13th Street to the center line of Broadway, thence westerly along the center line of Broadway to its intersection with the center line of 12th Street, thence southerly along the center line of said 12th Street to its intersection with the center line of Walnut Street, thence westerly along the center line of Walnut Street to its intersection with the center line of 9th Street, and thence northerly along the center line of said 9th Street to the place of beginning.
