(A) Establishment. There is hereby established an official newspaper in and for the city.
(B) Name. The Hancock County Journal-Pilot, a secular English weekly newspaper, published in the City of Carthage, Illinois, and distributed throughout the county and in the city be, and the same is hereby selected to be the official newspaper of said city.
(C) Official use. All notices, advertisements, reports, proceedings, and miscellaneous matters required to be published, by law or ordinances, in the city shall be published in said official newspaper.
