(A) Purpose. Pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11-139-1, the city shall operate a combined water works and sewerage system.
(B) Elements. All existing elements of the water works and sewerage system, as they exist at the date of this section, shall be included as a part of the combined water works and sewerage system theretofore established, consisting of, but not limited to, water intake, city water plant, city distribution system, water tower, metering devices, other works equipment, city sewers, for the collection of sewage (including feeder sewers, sewer mains, and other sewer collection facilities), and a city sewer plant.
(C) Water works and sewerage projects. Any water works projects or sewerage projects hereafter constructed shall expressly be a part of the combined water works and sewerage system herein described.
