157.05 DUTIES.

   (a)    The Youth Commission shall review issues and plan initiatives of interest to the youth of the City and which impact upon their lives, shall make recommendations to Council and the Administration on such issues, and shall bring forth any suggestions for the implementation of programs, procedures, or activities to assist the Commission in addressing and resolving such issues.

   (b)    The City Manager shall designate one or more individuals to serve as the municipal administrative representative within the Administration who shall advise and facilitate the Youth Commission in carrying out its duties and responsibilities as set forth herein (hereafter "Advisor(s)"). All other directors, chiefs, and administration shall render any assistance and cooperation, or provide any information requested by the Youth Commission which can be made readily available to it, in order to facilitate the accomplishment of its duties. The City Administration and City Council shall recommend to the Commission for its review and recommendations any item it may deem to be of interest to the youth of the community.
