No person shall be eligible for nomination or election to any Town office who is not an Elector63 of the Town, and, in the case of a district council representative, a resident of that particular district. Any person ceasing to be an Elector of the Town or a resident of a district where such residence is required for holding said office, shall thereupon cease to hold elective office in the Town or district.
