(A) With respect to any application to demolish a building, structure or part thereof, if a written objection to the issuance of the permit is filed with the town Building Official by any individual, firm, corporation, organization or other entity within 14 calendar days following publication of the legal notice as required, the Building Official shall delay issuance of the permit for demolition for a period of 90 calendar days from the receipt of the application.
(B) If no objection to the demolition of the subject building, structure or part thereof is filed within 14 calendar days of the publication, the Building Official may issue the permit forthwith.
