(A) The Town Engineer will collect a permit fee for excavation work based on the following schedule:
(1) For each excavation up to 200 square feet: $95.
(2) For each excavation in excess of 200 square feet, and up to one block in length: $150.
(3) For each additional block or part of an additional block: $150.
(B) In addition, at least 24 hours prior to beginning any excavation work, the permittee shall contact the Town Engineer's office at (203) 287-7040 to inform of the specific date when excavation will begin and its expected duration on any street or roadway in town.
