§ 71.10 CITATION FOR UNLAWFULLY PARKED VEHICLE.
   (A)   When any vehicle is found parked in violation of this chapter, any Police Officer finding such violation shall take its registration number and any other information displayed on the vehicle which may identify its user and shall conspicuously affix to such vehicle a traffic citation on a form provided by the Chief of Police stating that such vehicle is parked unlawfully and shall state the penalty for such violation. Such citation shall state the provision of each violation.
   (B)   No person shall recover any vehicle removed pursuant to this chapter until payment is received by the Hamden Police for any citation issued for a violation of this chapter.
   (C)   Any owner or operator of the vehicle on which the citation was attached may make payment in person or remit by mail in the form of a check or money order payable to the Town of Hamden and delivered to the Hamden Police Department as specified on the citation, as a penalty for violations of this chapter.
