§ 33.100 ESTABLISHMENT.
   (A)   The Commission shall consist of seven members, who shall be residents of the town and shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to the approval of the Legislative Council. Commission members shall serve without compensation. Membership on the Commission shall include:
      (1)   No more than four members from any one political party;
      (2)   Two (2) members appointed for a one-year term;
      (3)   Two members appointed for a two-year term; and
      (4)   Three members appointed for a three-year term.
   (B)   Thereafter all members shall be appointed for three-year terms. The terms shall commence on July 1, 1999. In the event of a vacancy in the Commission's membership, the successor shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to approval by the Legislative Council, to serve the unexpired term of the vacating member. Any member may be removed by the Mayor for cause, which shall include failure to attend three meetings of the Commission without reasonable excuse within a calendar year.
   (C)   The Public Works Director and Recycling Coordinator shall serve as an ex officio member of the Commission without power to vote.
