§ 33.01 ESTABLISHMENT.
   The Community Development Advisory Commission shall consist of nine electors who shall be residents of the town and shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Legislative Council. Commission members shall serve without compensation. Membership shall include:
   (A)   No more than five members from one political party.
   (B)   The Commission shall consist of nine electors, appointed by the Mayor and subject to the approval of the Legislative Council, each to serve a term of three years. The Commission shall consist of the nine current members of the Community Development Advisory Commission. Upon the expiration of the terms of the current members, three members shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Legislative Council to serve a one-year term; three members appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Legislative Council, shall serve two-year terms; and three members appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Legislative Council shall serve three-year terms. Thereafter all members appointed shall be appointed for three-year terms. A vacancy on the Commission shall be filled by appointment of the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Legislative Council, for the unexpired portion of the term of the vacating member. Any member may be removed by the Mayor for cause, which shall include failure to attend three meetings of the Commission, without reasonable excuse, within a calendar year.
