§ 159.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   No person, firm, or corporation, whether as owner, lessee, sublessee, or occupant, shall erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, demolish, equip, use, occupy, or maintain any building or premises, or cause or permit the same to be done, contrary to or in violation of any of the provisions of §§ 159.01 through 159.11 or any order issued by the Building Commissioner. Any person violating those sections of this chapter shall be liable for a penalty of an amount not to excel $2,500 per day as provided by law.
   (B)   The penalty for violation of §§ 159.12 through 159.18 shall not be less than $25 no more than $2,500. Each and every day the violation continues shall be a separate violation.
