A. Membership: The commission shall consist of three (3) to twelve (12) members. They shall be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council. All members must meet the residency requirements as set out in Idaho Code section 67-6504.
B. Terms: The terms of office for the appointive members shall be for a minimum of three (3) years and a maximum of six (6) years commencing October 1 of that particular year. The six (6) year term shall begin at the expiration of the original appointed term.
C. Selection; Compensation: Members shall be selected without respect to political affiliations, and shall serve with the following reimbursements or compensation: Mileage based on existing city rates.
D. Vacancies: All vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as original appointments. Members may be removed after public hearing by a majority vote of the governing body. (Per bylaws dated 8-8-2009)
