A. A nonconforming use is a use existing at the effective date hereof or of any earlier land use ordinance that is not permitted by provisions of this chapter or the land use ordinance.
B. A nonconforming use may not be expanded in regard to actual land use or in regard to building space used, except through an appropriate conditional use permit. A nonconforming use may not be changed to another nonconforming use without compliance with the terms of this title. (1996 Code § 4-5-15)
