§ 114.03 SALES REGULATED; PERMIT REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct, operate or permit to be operated in the city, any yard sale, sidewalk sale or garage sale, for any purpose whatever unless a permit has first been obtained from the City Clerk/Treasurer/Tax Collector. No more than two consecutive day yard sales may be permitted during any one calendar year. There shall be a fee of $10 for a permit to be applied for and issued for any and each yard, sidewalk or garage sale. Any person to whom a permit has been issued under this section who abuses any conditions set out in the permit, or violates any limitation set forth therein, shall subject the permit to immediate revocation.
   (B)   It is expressly declared to be the purpose of this chapter to limit yard sales, sidewalk sales, garage sales or any other type of rummage sale to two sales per year per premises. Sales may be conducted Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Each day shall be considered a separate sale.
