(A) There is hereby created a Commission known as the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is formed following an interrogation of the county and cities within the county to determine whether a joint Planning Commission would be successful. The result of the interrogation conducted on ___ indicated that the establishing of a joint Planning Commission would be unsuccessful and as such pursuant to KRS 100.117, a Planning Commission for the city is hereby established.
(B) Per KRS 100.113, the city, acting through the Planning Commission, shall begin planning operations.
