(A) Operation in residential areas prohibited. It shall be unlawful to operate any “sexually oriented business” in any area of the city which is zoned for residential use.

(B) Operation within 1,500 feet of church, school or residential neighborhood prohibited. It shall be unlawful to operate any “sexually oriented business” within 1,500 feet of any public or private church, school or residential neighborhood. The measurements from a church shall be along the property lines of the street fronts and from front door to front door, and in direct line across intersections. The measurement of the distance from any public schools or other educational institution shall be in a direct line from the property line of the public school to the property line of the place of business, and in a direct line across intersections. The measurement from a residential neighborhood shall be from the nearest property line of a residential lot to the nearest entrance by which the public may enter the place of the “sexually oriented business,” and in a direct line across intersections.
