(A) It is unlawful for any person to build, ignite, or maintain a fire within a public park or recreation area except as herein provided.
(B) It shall be a defense to prosecution under this section that the fire:
(1) Was built, ignited, or maintained in a fire-containment vessel or structure provided by the Parks and Recreation Department; or
(2) Was built, ignited, or maintained in a fire-containment vessel or device approved by the Fire Marshal in consultation with the Director of the park.
