All applicants before appointment to the Auxiliary Police Reserve Force shall subscribe to an oath that he will obey and observe the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of Texas, and the laws of this nation, this state, and this city, that he will carry out the duties of a member of the Auxiliary Police Reserve Force, Gun Barrel City Police Department, to the best of his ability.
