A. If a municipality within the county has signed the intergovernmental agreement between the county and the municipality and has a recycling ordinance in place on the effective date hereof which substantially conforms with or exceeds this chapter, the municipality may continue to enforce its ordinance, and such enforcement shall be considered as meeting the requirements of this chapter, except the licensing requirements, which will continue in full force and effect.
B. A municipality may choose, at any time, to enact and enforce a recycling ordinance that is more stringent than this chapter. (Ord. 05-009, 5-10-2005)
