129.02 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD; OVERTIME.
   (a)    All hours worked in excess of eighty-two and one-half (82.5) hours per bi-weekly pay period, shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's regular hourly rate of pay. No employee shall be paid for overtime work which has not been authorized by a supervisor.
      (1)   Vacation days, sick leave, holiday leave, and personal days shall be considered as hours worked for computing overtime. Hours worked on a holiday for which an employee received compensation at time and one-half (1 1/2) shall be counted in computing eligibility for overtime. No hours worked for an Employer other than the City of Groveport shall be counted in computing eligibility for overtime. At no time shall any of the hours described in this section be pyramided for computing overtime.
   (b)    An officer will be paid for any required court appearances. An officer who is required to appear in Court shall, if possible, call the Court to determine if the officer's attendance is necessary. If as a result of the call the officer is required to attend Court, the officer shall be compensated as provided below:
   On an officer's day off:
      (1)   An Officer shall be compensated at the rate of three hour minimum for one and one-half times the employee's regular rate of pay for the Groveport Mayor's Court.
      (2)   A three hour minimum at one and one-half times the employee's regular rate of pay for court other than the Groveport Mayor's Court.
   (c)    In the case of an employee's overtime resulting from attendance at regularly scheduled training, educational school, class or clinic, overtime will be calculated in accordance with one of the following situations:
      (1)   On an employees regularly scheduled day of work, the employee will receive a two hour minimum at the employee's regular rate of pay.
      (2)   On an employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee will receive a two hour minimum at one and one-half times the employee's regular rate of pay.
   (d)    When an employee is ordered to report to work at a time which is not contiguous to his regularly scheduled shift, the employee shall be paid in accordance with one of the following situations:
      (1)   On an employee's regularly scheduled day off the employee will receive a minimum of two hours at one and one-half times the employee's regular rate of pay.
      (2)   On an employee's regularly scheduled day of work when the employee is required to report back to work, the employee will receive a minimum of two hours at the employee's regular rate of pay.
   (e)    All full-time officers are entitled to shift differential pay according to the following rates and limitations:
      (1)   An additional $.75 per hour for B Company (2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.)
      (2)   An additional $1.05 per hour for C Company (10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.)
      (3)   Shift differential does not apply to court appearances, special duty and/or or overtime.
