(a) No person shall hunt, kill or attempt to kill any animal or fowl by the use of firearms, bow and arrow, air rifle, or any other means within the corporate limits of the Municipality except as permitted in subsection (b) hereof.
(b) It shall be lawful to hunt and trap pursuant to Ohio R.C. Chapters 1531 and 1533 and when in conformity with all Division of Wildlife rules when in a designated hunting and trapping zone.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
(d) Hunting and Trapping Map Adopted.
(1) Division of land. All land in the City is placed into a permitted or prohibited hunting and trapping zone as it is shown on the Hunting and Trapping Zone Map of Groveport, Ohio, which is hereby adopted and declared a part of this chapter.
(2) Final authority. The Hunting and Trapping Zone Map, as amended from time to time, shall be the final authority for the current hunting and trapping zone status of land under the jurisdiction of this chapter.
(3) Land not otherwise designated. All land under this chapter and not designated or otherwise included within the hunting and trapping zone shall be included in a prohibited hunting and trapping zone.
(4) Identification of the Hunting and Trapping Zone Map. The Hunting and Trapping Zone Map with any amendments made thereon shall be identified by the signatures of the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Groveport, Ohio, under the following words:
"Hunting and Trapping Zone Map, No. 3, Groveport, Ohio, adopted by the Council of Groveport, Ohio."
