(A) Service will be supplied in the form of 60-cycle, alternating current, at only the standard voltages and phase available in the locality in which the premises to be serviced are situated. Before purchasing equipment or installing wiring, the customer shall secure from the borough in writing the current characteristics available.
(B) (1) The borough does not guarantee, but with the cooperation of the customer, will endeavor to furnish a continuous supply of electric energy and to maintain voltage and frequency within reasonable limits.
(2) The borough shall not be liable for damages which the customer may sustain by reason of the failure of the supply or variation in service characteristics or phase reversals, nor shall the borough be liable for damage that may be incurred by the use of electrical appliances, or the borough’s property on customer’s premises.
