§ 50.053 SEPARATION AND COLLECTION OF LEAF WASTE, YARD WASTE AND GRASS CLIPPINGS.
   (A)   Effective September 1, 1990 the disposal of leaves with household waste shall be prohibited. Effective October 1, 1990 it shall be unlawful to dispose of yard waste, grass clippings, garden residue, tree trimmings and the like with household waste.
   (B)   The borough will provide for the collection of leaf waste as defined in the Resource and Recovery and Recycling Ordinance. Leaves will be collected during the fall season according to a schedule which will be established by the borough.
   (C)   Leaves shall be placed at the curb for collection by the borough or its authorized agent.
   (D)   The borough will provide a drop-off site for the disposal of other yard waste, i.e., tree trimmings, bushes, plants, garden residue, shrubbery clippings and grass clippings.
   (E)   Property owners may do backyard composting.
