The borough shall appoint the Zoning Officer who shall administer and enforce the provisions of this chapter, and shall do so in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. The Zoning Officer shall also have the duties as set forth by this subchapter. The Zoning Officer shall not hold any elective office in the borough.
