Storm sewers, culverts, sumps and related installations shall be provided to permit the unimpeded flow of natural watercourses, to ensure the drainage of all low points along the lines of streets and to intercept stormwater run-off along streets at intervals reasonably related to the extent and grade of the area drained. In designing the drainage system, the developer shall adhere to the requirements of Ord. 1403 (Ch. 52) for stormwater management.
